Identity
Asking who we really are, beyond what we do or what others expect.
What the Bible can tell you
God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27
For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb.
Psalms 139:13
But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
1 Peter 2:9
A human reading
Your identity does not depend only on your achievements or on other people's judgments. The text says you were created with value. Recognizing that helps you live with more freedom.
This page offers reflection and companionship; it does not replace a professional. If what you feel weighs heavily or lasts for weeks, talk with someone you trust or with a health professional.
