Forgiveness and guilt
Forgiving yourself
Accepting our mistakes and no longer punishing ourselves for them.
What the Bible can tell you
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 8:1
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
Psalms 103:12
A human reading
Many times we are harsher with ourselves than with others. Recognizing the mistake, repairing what can be repaired, and moving on is healthier than living condemned. Forgiving yourself does not exempt you from learning.
